The Lowveld Airshow is proud to announce that the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) has joined as an official event partner for this year’s highly anticipated airshow, taking place on 9 and 10 May 2025, at the Nelspruit Airfield on the Kaapchse Hoop Road.

Since its inception, the Lowveld Airshow has been a premier aviation spectacle, and this year marks its 31st anniversary. Speaking about the significance of sponsorships, Johan Heine, Chairperson of the Lowveld Airshow, stated: “The support of our sponsors is crucial in making this event at an affordable price for the public. A Show Like No Other – A symphony of flight and sound
This year’s theme, “A symphony of flight and sound” promises an unforgettable experience, blending the thrill of aviation with the power of music. Kicking off the weekend’s festivities, a 25- piece orchestra will take center stage on the evening of May 9, 2025, delivering a mesmerizing performance accompanied by a sunset aircraft display and hot air balloons ending with a firework display. Guests can enjoy this spectacular evening in theatre-style seating with canapés and a cash bar, making for an elegant and exclusive event. Tickets for the orchestra event are priced at R350 per person, with limited availability.
Airshow Extravaganza – May 10, 2025
On May 10, aviation enthusiasts and families can look forward to an action-packed day, featuring breathtaking aerobatic displays, a variety of aircraft, and a dynamic pre-show program. Attendees can also explore over 100 market stalls, indulge in delicious food, and let the kids enjoy a dedicated play area.
