The Gazelle is a French five-seat helicopter, commonly used for light transport, scouting and light attack duties. It was the first helicopter to carry a fenestron; a shrouded multi-blade anti-torque device housed internally upon the vertical surface of the Gazelle’s tail, which replaces a conventional tail rotor entirely. Produced between 1967 and 1996, it is still in active service and has a maximum speed of 310 km/h.
