SAAF Silver Falcons

The South African Air Force (SAAF) Silver Falcons team is based at Air Force Base Langebaanweg close to Cape Town, and currently fly the Pilatus PC-7 Mk II in a 5-ship routine.

SAAF JAS-39 Gripen

The Saab JAS 39 Gripen is a light single-engine multirole fighter aircraft with a delta wing and canard configuration with relaxed stability design and fly-by-wire flight controls.

Puma Flying Lions

The Flying Lions regularly grab headlines with magnificent aerial displays at air shows around South Africa and have been in operation for more than 14 years.

Performing at 11:40 and 13:05.

Team Xtream 330SC

Team Xtreme is a formation display team flown by South African aerobatic pilots Mark Hensman & Nigel Hopkins in a high energy duo display.

Performing at 10:10, 13:30 and 16:30.

Team Torre Pitts

While biplanes resemble aircraft from a bygone era, the nearly 70-year-old Pitts Specials are capable of executing just about every maneuver in the ‘aerobatic catalogue’.

L-29 and L-39

The Aero L-39 Albatros is a high-performance jet trainer and will perform with the type it replaced, the Aero L-29 Delfin.

RV Display Team

Primarily a 6-ship formation team, the team are regulars in the skies above South Africa, producing some of the most thrilling displays.

“Little Annie”, an Antonov AN-2 aircraft flown all the way from Russia (Siberia) to South Africa for the specific purpose of changing people’s lives positively.
